With the better weather, it's much more tempting to get out for a bit of a walk. Use the time to let your eyes benefit: get your eyes moving. Try looking up to find the bird singing at the top of a tree by letting your eyes lead, then letting your head as much as you need, rather than starting as we so often do, the other way round. |

Ergonomically designed chairs usually have a 'lumbar support'. I tend to use something different: if I'm sitting in a chair, on a sofa or in the car, I put a small, fairly thin cushion between my shoulder blades. This gives the support where my spine needs it without the uncomfortable wedge in the lower back of a lumbar support. |

People often sit behind their sitting bones, on their tailbone, or the slump forward. Sitting bones are well named! That's their job, for sitting on. |
